FIRE CHIEF SUPERINTENDENT JAIME DOLLENTE RAMIREZ, DSC (born June 12, 1974) is a Filipino Commissioned Fire Officer and the current Regional Director of the Bureau of Fire Protection – National Capital Region (BFP–NCR). He is known for being the youngest Cordilleran to attain a Star-rank at the age of 46 and is the first General of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Kabalikat Class of 1998.
EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
FCSUPT RAMIREZ was born in Dagupan West, Tabuk, Kalinga. He completed his elementary education at Tabuk Central School and his secondary education at Tabuk National High School. He pursued his Bachelor of Science in Criminology at Cagayan Colleges of Tuguegarao in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Western Mindanao State University.
He is a graduate of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Kabalikat Class of 1998. For graduate studies, he obtained a Master of Arts in Criminology, Major in Safety and Security Management, from Emilio Aguinaldo Colleges in Ermita, Manila, and a Doctor of Management degree from Negros Oriental State University in Dumaguete City.
CAREER
FCSUPT RAMIREZ began his career at the Marikina City Fire Station in the National Capital Region. He went on to serve in various leadership roles within the Bureau of Fire Protection:
• City Fire Marshal and later District Fire Marshal of Zamboanga City, Region IX
• District Fire Marshal of Manila City Fire District, NCR
• District Fire Marshal of Quezon City Fire District, NCR
• Regional Director of BFP Region IV-B (MIMAROPA)
• Regional Director of BFP Region III (Central Luzon)
• Regional Director of BFP Region IV-A (CALABARZON), serving two terms
• Regional Director of BFP Region VII (Central Visayas)
• Regional Director of BFP National Capital Region (NCR)
He has been involved in regional initiatives to strengthen fire prevention, public safety, and emergency response capacity. His leadership has been recognized in community-based events such as the Mayor Ross Rizal Urban Fire Olympics in Calamba City, Laguna.

For him, the sport is not merely a leisure activity but also an avenue for discipline, focus, and strategy—values he seamlessly integrates into his leadership style in public service.
